“The truth is rarely pure and never simple.” – Oscar Wilde

Realizing that something you once thought was absolutely true isn’t, is a significant aspect of life’s complexity. It’s an important reminder that being sure about something can sometimes be like wearing blinders to reality.

When this happens, it’s a crash course in being adaptable and open-minded. It’s understanding that we’re never done growing. The more we learn, the more we realize we don’t know much at all, really.

Our quest for understanding is an ongoing journey of exploration. Every time we unravel a misconception, it’s like we’re stitching ourselves closer to the fabric of reality. This experience teaches us that the path towards wisdom is a continuous learning process, and the final destination is perpetually shifting, mirroring life’s ever-changing landscape.

As we go through these experiences, we become more understanding and kinder to others who are also trying to figure things out. We learn to be humble and tough, ready to handle whatever comes our way.

So, as we let go of the idea that there are absolute truths, we become better at facing life’s challenges, using our curiosity and strength to create a wiser and more colorful life.

Sometimes a crab is just a crab, and sometimes it’s something else entirely.
